Eligibility Criteria for ACTREC Scientific Assistant

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed B.Sc. or B. Tech degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Biophysics, or a similar discipline in the first attempt, with a minimum of 50% marks, from a government-recognized or accredited institution.

Experience Requirements

Minimum two years of experience in:

• Hands-On experience in any two skills:
  1. Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and maintenance of both adherent and suspension cell lines.
  2. Planning and execution of experiments and techniques.

  4. DNA extraction, RNA preps, protein estimation.

  1. Operating routinely used equipment in research laboratories.
  2. Working knowledge of computer like MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
  3. Managing lab inventory and optimum utilization of research grants.
• Experience in handling and experiments related to laboratory research animals.
