Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• Degree in Blood Bank Technology.
• B.Sc. in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.
• M.Sc. in Transfusion Medicine.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Transfusion Technology (PGDTT) approved by the Central/State Government.

Experience

• Essential: Minimum 02 years of experience in the testing of blood and its components and apheresis from a licensed Blood Centre.
• Preference: Candidates with more than 2 years of experience will be given preference.

Age Limit & Cut-off

• Age Limit: Between 21 to 35 Years.
• Age Calculation: Age refers to completed age in years as on the last date of submission of application (26.02.2026).

Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Mandatory Requirements

• No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must submit an NOC at the time of the interview.
• Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to medical fitness from a competent medical board.

Selection Procedure

The selection is not based on a competitive written exam. The process involves:

1. Screening/Shortlisting: Based on educational qualifications, relevant experience, and other criteria decided by the Executive Director. In case of a large number of applications, a screening test may be conducted.
2. Document Verification: Scrutiny of applications and verification of documents (qualification, experience, category, age).
3. Interview: Held at AIIMS Nagpur venue. Candidates must produce all original documents. Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
4. Final Selection: Based on merit (performance in the interview) and meeting the minimum qualifying marks/suitability standard fixed by the Selection Committee.
