All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur has invited online applications for 3 Project Technical Support - I positions under an ICMR-funded research project titled "A Community-based Participatory Approach for Intensified Cervical Cancer Screening in Rural Nagpur, Central India – a multi-methods Study" in the Department of Community Medicine. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Project Technical Support - I (Medical Social Worker):
  • Matriculation (10th) with Bachelor's in Social Work / Psychology / Nursing or equivalent + 2 years of experience in the relevant field from a Government or recognized institute. OR
  • Three years graduate degree in the relevant field + 1 year of experience in the relevant field. OR
  • 3 years graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / relevant degree + 3 years of related experience. OR
  • Post Graduate in Social Work / Sociology with a minimum of 1 year of experience in research, preferably in Tuberculosis.
• Project Technical Support - I (Laboratory Technician):
  • Matriculation (10th) with MLT / DMLT + 2 years of experience in the relevant field. OR
  • Three years graduate degree in the relevant field + 1 year of experience in the relevant field.
• Upper Age Limit: 30 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for reserved categories as per GOI rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be conducted through a personal interview. Eligible candidates will be called for the interview by email/mail.

• Written Screening Test: If the number of eligible candidates for any post exceeds ten, a preliminary written test may be conducted prior to the personal interview.

Contract Duration & Job Nature

• All these posts are tenure jobs for a fixed duration under a funded project and are not regular posts under ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur.
• The selected candidate cannot claim any permanent employment from ICMR or AIIMS Nagpur on the basis of this experience.
• The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis for a maximum of 12 months or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• Candidates wishing to resign must furnish a one-month notice period.
• The tenure automatically ends for all candidates once the project duration is completed.
• If the appointee fails to fulfil the prescribed output norms, services may be terminated without notice.
