AIIMS Nagpur has released 1 vacancy for the Senior Resident post under the Tele MANAS Mentoring Unit. The engagement is contractual with consolidated fixed remuneration.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Senior Resident — Tele MANAS Mentoring Unit

• Essential Qualification: A post-graduate qualification in Psychiatry, e.g., MD in Psychiatry, or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in Psychiatry.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Clinical and/or research experience in TeleMedicine and/or Tele-training
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary research teams
  • Indexed scientific publications
• Age Limit: Candidates must be 61 years and below as on the last date of submission of application (10 October 2026). All prescribed qualifications and age will be counted as on the crucial date of 10 October 2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process for the AIIMS Nagpur Senior Resident post involves the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on educational qualifications, relevant experience, and/or short-chain criteria as decided by the Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Nagpur.
2. Screening Test (if applicable): In case of a large number of applications, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
3. Document Verification: Scrutiny of applications and document verification will be conducted before the interview. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the interview.
4. Interview: Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks (suitability standard) in the interview as fixed by the Selection Committee.

• Self-attested copies of all educational qualifications, experience documents, school leaving certificate (age proof)

Key Contractual Terms

• The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for 11 months and 29 days and does not confer permanent government employment.
• The appointee shall not be entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, or medical attendance treatment applicable to regular government servants.
• The appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving one month's notice or by paying one month's salary in lieu of notice.
• Resignation or applying elsewhere within the first three months of joining will not make the candidate eligible for an NOC, relieving letter, or experience certificate.
• The appointee shall be on whole-time engagement of AIIMS Nagpur and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise.
