AIIMS Nagpur Medical Physicist Recruitment 2026 – Overview

• Pathway A: M.Sc. in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
• Pathway B: (i) M.Sc. in Physics from a recognized University; and (ii) A Post-Graduate diploma or degree in Radiological Medical Physics from a recognized University/Institute.
• Pathway C: M.Sc. in Medical Technology with Radiotherapy as a special subject from a recognized University and/or Diploma in Radiation Protection.
• Experience (Mandatory for all pathways): Two years of experience working in the Radiotherapy Department of a Hospital.

Desirable Qualification: An approval from the competent authority to function as Radiological Safety Officer (RSO).

Age Limit: Between 21 and 35 years. Age relaxation applicable as per AIIMS Nagpur / Government of India rules for reserved categories.

Salary Structure & Contract Tenure

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 86,955/- per month. There will be no annual increment or pay enhancement during the contract period. The appointment is strictly on a contractual basis for 11 (Eleven) months or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier. The contract period may be extended based on institutional requirements and satisfactory performance. No other allowances (DA, HRA) are payable.
