Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Nationality

• Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 are also eligible.

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Professor (E.N.T. & Psychiatry): Qualifications as per NMC (National Medical Commission) Norms applicable for Assistant Professor positions, including required academic and clinical credentials, NET/JRF/SLET/SET/CSIR certification as applicable, and M.Phil/Ph.D. wherever required.
• Senior Resident (Medicine): Qualifications as per the Residency Scheme adopted by Aligarh Muslim University, meeting NMC requirements for Senior Resident appointments.
• Valid NMC registration for both Graduation and Post-Graduation is mandatory for all candidates.
• Relevant experience certificates wherever applicable.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Selection will be conducted through a Local Selection Committee (L.S.C.) interview held in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Department-Wise Interview Schedule

• E.N.T. (Assistant Professor): 31 October 2026 at 12:30 PM
• Psychiatry (Assistant Professor): 31 October 2026 at 01:00 PM
• Medicine (Senior Resident): 31 October 2026 at 01:30 PM

Key Screening Conditions

• Candidates must report to the Office of the Dean half an hour before the scheduled time of the L.S.C.
• All original documents must be carried for verification at the time of interview. Candidates failing to produce originals will not be allowed to appear.
• Assistant Professor candidates are required to bring one presentation (soft copy on pen drive) on the topic of their area of interest in their concerned subject for presentation at the time of interview.
• No separate notice or interview letter will be issued to candidates. Interviews will take place on 31 October 2026 as per the notified schedule.
• The University reserves the right to restrict the number of applicants called for interview based on rules and criteria.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
