Field Investigator, Project Coordinator

Number of Vacancy: 4 Posts

Educational Qualification: M.A, M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D, MPH

Applications are invited for the following posts under a project funded by National Commission for Women (NCW), titled “Mental health issues among working women in urban Odisha: Inter-relationship with parenting, domestic violence, psycho-sexual functioning and occupation”

1. Post Name: Field Investigator– ( 3 posts)

2. Project Duration : Contract tenure is for upto six months or till completion of the project whichever is earlier. Initial appointment will be on contract basis for 3 months and based on performance further extension will be given.

3. Educational Qualification :

M.A / M.phill / PhD on Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Sociology M.Sc. (Psychiatric Nursing) Master in medical / psychology social work (Psychiatry social worker Master in Public health (MPH) Graduate with psychology /sociology as one of the subjects.

4. Experience : Research Experience in the field of mental health Communication fluency in English and in local language (Odiya) (verbal and written) Experience in handling or management of research projects Candidates with experience in the relevant area may be preferred.

5. Key Skills : Ability to carry out psychiatric interview and administer screening and diagnostic scales

6. Location : Training at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, followed by field work

7. Proposed Salary : 15000/- PLUS TA & DA Field survey on mental health issues among working women in urban Odisha.

2. Tenure: Initial appointment will be on contract basis for 3 months and based on performance Following this, if found satisfactory, it shall be renewed till completion of project.

3. Educational Qualification : M.A / M.phill / PhD on Psychology / Clinical psychology Master in medical / psychology social work (Psychiatry social worker) Master in Public health Graduate with psychology /sociology as one of the subjects

4. Experience : 

Knowledge on project, management tools Communication fluency in English and in local language (Odia) (verbal and written) Experience in handling or management of research projects. Candidates with experience in the relevant area may be preferred Candidates with experience in in research data and the compilation and statistical analysis of the data using SPSS software will be preferred.

5. Key Skills : Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision

6. Location : AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha different field zones of Odisha in the study and co-ordinate field work including field visits, if needed

7. Proposed Salary :  Rs. 27000/- (including TA/DA)
