All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, Department of Neonatology, has invited applications for the post of Project Research Scientist-I on a purely temporary basis. This recruitment is for the ICMR-funded Extramural Research Project titled "Physiological Postnatal Weight Loss Nomograms in Exclusively Breastfed Healthy Term Infants: A Multi-Centric Prospective Cohort Study". Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

• Essential Qualification:
  • First class post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees; OR
  • Second class post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD; OR
  • For Engineering/IT/CS: First class graduate degree of four years.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Experience: Previous experience of at least 2 years in research projects in the medical field.
• Job Profile:
  • Candidate needs to travel to other sites located in different states for monitoring the research project (TA/DA will be provided for each visit separately).
  • Responsible for maintaining all records, generating random sequences, and patient allocation to the intervention and control arms.

Salary / Stipend

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 67,200/- per month. No other benefits or allowances are applicable.

• Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM (Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be entertained).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Walk-In-Interview. The Competent Authority reserves the right to conduct a Screening/Scrutiny Test depending on the number of applicants. Candidates must bring all original documents and self-attested photocopies.

They must appear in person along with all relevant original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies regarding age, qualifications, and experience.
