Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Chief Nursing Officer
- Essential Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing. Preference shall be given to those possessing M.Sc. in Nursing.
- Experience: Not less than 15 years of experience in the profession, out of which 5 years should be as Nursing Superintendent or in a similar capacity in Nursing Administration.
- Service Criteria: Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis OR with 5 years of regular service in Level-11 of the pay matrix in Central/State Govts./UT/Administrations or Autonomous/Statutory bodies.
Salary/Stipend
The post is in Level-12 in the pay matrix (Pre-revised PB-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.7600). The deputation period will not ordinarily exceed 3 years and is governed by DoPT O.M. No. 06/08/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010.

Selection Process
