Applications are invited for the engagement of Project staff purely on contract basis in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi (AIIMS Delhi) DST funded project entitled "Systematic Understanding of Sushrutan Heritage by Research and Use of Technology Application" (SUSHRUTA). Sushruta led the world of surgical disciplines in ancient times. In this project, visits to major institutes in parts of India and systematic examination and collection of information will be done. These activities will be beneficial to propagate the legacy of Sushruta.

Eligibility for Principal Project Associate-I

  • Essential: (i) Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or medicine from a recognized University and (ii) Eight years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and scientific activities and services.
  • Desirable: 1. Proficiency in Digital Tools and Technology Application like digital humanities tools, database creation, metadata tagging, Al/ML applications in text mining, or AR/VR for medical education. 2. Expertise in Ancient Medical Manuscripts & Traditional Medicine especially in Sushruta Samhita and related Ayurvedic literature.

Salary / Stipend

The remuneration for the post of Principal Project Associate-I is Rs. 49,000/- plus HRA @ 30%.
