Vacancy Details & Salary Structure

The Allahabad Museum has announced 1 vacancy for the post of Finance-and-Accounts Officer. This is a deputation-level position offering a attractive salary under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Note: The salary range mentioned is the standard 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-9. The old grade pay was Rs. 5400 (Pay Band-2: Rs. 9300-34800).

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

This recruitment is on Deputation basis. Candidates must be officers of the Central Government, State Government, or Public Sector Undertakings. The detailed eligibility is as follows:

Educational Qualification & Experience:

1. Officers holding analogous posts in the organized Accounts Service; OR
2. Section Officers of CSS in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) with Grade Pay ₹4800, with at least 2 years regular service and experience in finance and accounts; OR
3. Officers from accounts/audit offices in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) with Grade Pay ₹4600, with 3 years regular service; OR
4. Assistant Accounts Officers / Assistant Audit Officers in Pay Band-2 (₹9300-34800) with Grade Pay ₹4200, with 8 years regular service.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
