The Ambedkar Nagar Hospital (ANH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, Department of Health, has announced a recruitment drive for Junior Resident (MBBS) posts. This is an excellent opportunity for MBBS graduates to work with the Delhi Health Department on an adhoc basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Degree: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
• Recognition: Degree must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) from a recognized medical college in India.
• Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). A valid DMC registration certificate is mandatory at the time of the interview.
• Internship: Must have completed one year of Junior Residency (Internship).

Age Limit

• General: 30 years
• SC/ST: 35 years
• OBC: 33 years
• PwD: Upper age limit relaxable by 10 years.

Critical Eligibility Conditions

• Internship must have been completed between February 2024 and February 2026.
• Candidates who completed their internship more than two years from the advertisement date (03/02/2026) are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Walk-in Interview. The process includes:

1. Document Verification: Checking MBBS degree, DMC registration, and Internship completion certificate.
2. Personal Interview: With the selection committee.
3. Merit-Based Selection: Based on academic performance and interview.
4. Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit for the post.
