Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary posts of skilled manpower to be engaged in various projects under RUSA at Anna University.

1. Post Name: Skilled Manpower

3. Project Title: 

a. Grid Planning and restructuring for Grid Integration of Electric Vehicle Charging station

b. Development of Energy Efficient motor drive systems for Electric Vehicle

c. Coordinated design and tuning of controllers for onboard/off board power electronic interfaces

d. Monitoring and analysis of power quality issues on to the distribution network due to electric vehicle infrastructure

4. Remuneration:

a. Skilled manpower with ME Qualification: Rs. 300/ hour

b. Skilled manpower with BE Qualification: Rs. 250 /hour

c. Skilled manpower with ITI or Diploma Qualification: Rs. 200/hour

5. Qualifications & Experience: 

a. ME: Essential: M.E / M.Tech.in Power Systems Engineering / Embedded system technologies with 2 years relevant experience

b. M.E in Power Electronics and Drives/ Electrical Drives and Control with 2 years relevant experience.

a. B.E Essential: B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 years relevant experience

c. ITI or Diploma Essential Diploma in Electrical and Electronics with 2 years relevant experience/ ITI in Electrician or Electronics with 2 years relevant experience.

d. M.E Essential M.E Power Electronics and Drives / M.E Power System Engineering / M.E High Voltage Engineering with 2 years relevant experience

e. B.E Essential B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 years relevant experience

f. M.E Essential M.E/M.Tech in Power systems/ Power Electronics and Drives/ Control &Instrumentation/ Power Engineering and Management/ Embedded system technologies/ High Voltage Engineering

g. ITI or Diploma Essential Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering

6. Desirable:

a. Knowledge and experience in PSCAD, MATLAB Simulation, ETAP, PSIM. Knowledge and Hands on experience in Real Time Hardware with regard to Electric vehicle. Knowledge in modelling of solar PV and wind turbine generators.

b. Capable of doing simulation of Electrical machines and drives in software like PSIM/PSPICE/ MATLAB. Capable of doing hardware implementation for Electrical machines and Drives under closed loop operation (Any processor like dSPACE, FPGA, Microcontrollers)

c. Capable of doing simulation of Electrical machines and drives in software like PSIM/PSPICE/ MATLAB. Capable of doing hardware implementation for Electrical machines and Drives under closed loop operation (Any processor like dSPACE, FPGA, Microcontrollers)

d. Capable of doing simulation of Electrical machines and drives in software like PSIM/PSPICE/ MATLAB. Capable of doing hardware implementation for Electrical machines and 3.Drives under closed loop operation (Any processor like dSPACE, FPGA, Microcontrollers)

e. Hands on experience in Power Electronics instrumentation, dSPACE controllers, TI Processors, Electrical Maintenance

f. Capable of doing simulation of Electrical machines and drives in software like PSIM/PSPICE/ MATLAB. Hands on experience in Power Electronics instrumentation and Hardware Inloop Simulation in Real Time Capable of doing hardware implementation for Electrical machines and.Drives under closed loop operation (Any processor like dSPACE, FPGA, Microcontrollers) Basies of High Voltage Eng.

g. Hands on experience in Power Electronics instrumentation, dSPACE controllers, TI Processors, Electrical Maintenance

h. Experience in power quality and power systems Hands on experience in ETAP or Digsilent power factory Rich experience in power station design, installation and commissioning Basic knowledge in Electric vehicles, power quality, Electric design (Single Line and Detailed engineering diagrams) Knowledge in PVSYST/PV sketch, AutoCAD and Matlab/ SIMULINK, Python
