Applications are invited for filling up various posts in the Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi on deputation basis for a period of three years from suitable candidates, who fulfill the eligibility conditions:
1. Name of the Post: Accounts Officer (General Central Service, Group 'B' Non- Gazetted, Non-MinisteriaI)
2. No of Post: 02
3. Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level - 7 (Rs. 44900-142400)
4. Eligibility: Officer of the organised Accounts Cadre of the Central Government:
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis: or
(ii) Junior Accounts Officer of the organised Accounts Cadre of the Central Governmentlany Bench of the Armed Forces Tribunal in the level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35400-112400) with five years of regular service in the grade.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
1. The pay of the officer selected on deputation basis will be governed by DoP&T O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
2. The departmental offcers in the feeder grade who are in direct line of promotion, shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, a deputationist in the Armed Forces Tribunal shall not be eligible for consideration for appointments by promotion channel.
3. The application in the prescribed pro forma of the eligible officer, who can be spared in the event of his/her selection may be forwarded to the Principal Registrar, Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, West Block-VIII, Sector-I, R.K. Puram, New Delhi - 110066 by the Department latest by 31.01.2022 along with photo copies of the Annual Confidential Reports for the last five years of the candidates along with Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
4. The applications received without supporting documents, photograph, unsigned and incomplete in any manner, shall be summarily rejected.
5. It may please be noted that this Office is not yet enlisted in the Directorate of Estate for allotment of GPRA (General Pool Residential Accommodation).

The Armed Forces Tribunal Act 2007, was passed by the Parliament and led to the formation of AFT with the power provided for the adjudication or trial by Armed Forces Tribunal of disputes and complaints with respect to commission, appointments, enrolments and conditions of service in respect of persons subject to the Army Act, 1950, The Navy Act, 1957 and the Air Force Act, 1950. It can further provide for appeals arising out of orders, findings or sentences of courts- martial held under the said Acts and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
Besides the Principal Bench in New Delhi, AFT has Regional Benches at Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, and Jaipur.
With the exception of the Chandigarh and Lucknow Regional Benches, which have three benches each, all other locations have a single bench. Each Bench comprises of a Judicial Member and an Administrative Member.
The Judicial Members are retired High Court Judges and Administrative Members are retired Members of the Armed Forces who have held rank of Major General/ equivalent or above for a period of three years or more, Judge Advocate General (JAG), who have held the appointment for at least one year are also entitled to be appointed as the Administrative Member.
