The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India, for the Post for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Group -'B' (Non- Gazetted), as per details below :-

1. Position : Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

2. No of post : 259

3. Department : Department of Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh

4. Pay Scale : Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900 - Rs.1,42,400), Group-'B' Non-Gazetted

5. Educational Qualification : 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce (Interview)

6. Syllabus : The Syllabus of Optional Subjects have been made available in the Commission's website.

Selection Procedure

1. Written Examination. Eligible Applicants will be required to undertake a Written Examination in the following subjects:- 1. Marks. -100 Marks. II. Ill. General English 100 Marks. --100 Marks. General Knowledge -- Concerned subjects :- (a) Paper I (Objective Type and shall Cover entire syllabus of Concerned subject). (b) Paper II (Conventional Essay Type, Covering the entire syllabus of Concerned sub' ect .

2. To qualify, an applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject as also, a minimum of 45% in aggregate score. Of such qualified candidates, a number three times the advertised posts (Approximately 777), in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the Interview/Viva-Voce.

3. Interview Viva Voce followed by Classroom Teaching ----50 Marks Will be conducted in the premises of the Commission

Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was established on 4th April 1988. The Commission consists of a Chairman, two members and a secretary. It is the duty of the Union and the State PSC to conduct examination for appointments to various posts. Office of APPSC is situated at PSC building, Vidhan Vihar, Itanagar.

The Head of the Office of the Commission is the Secretary who is appointed by the Commission with prior approval of the Governor. The functioning of the Commission is carried out by Administration branch, Accounts branch and Recruitment branch.
