The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India, for the Post for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Group -'B' (Non- Gazetted), as per details below :- 1. Position : Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) 2. No of post : 259 3. Department : Department of Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh 4. Pay Scale : Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900 - Rs.1,42,400), Group-'B' Non-Gazetted 5. Educational Qualification : 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce (Interview) 6. Syllabus : The Syllabus of Optional Subjects have been made available in the Commission's website.

Selection Procedure
1. Written Examination. Eligible Applicants will be required to undertake a Written Examination in the following subjects:- 1. Marks. -100 Marks. II. Ill. General English 100 Marks. --100 Marks. General Knowledge -- Concerned subjects :- (a) Paper I (Objective Type and shall Cover entire syllabus of Concerned subject). (b) Paper II (Conventional Essay Type, Covering the entire syllabus of Concerned sub' ect .
2. To qualify, an applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject as also, a minimum of 45% in aggregate score. Of such qualified candidates, a number three times the advertised posts (Approximately 777), in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the Interview/Viva-Voce.
3. Interview Viva Voce followed by Classroom Teaching ----50 Marks Will be conducted in the premises of the Commission

2. One Time Registration on Commission's Website is mandatory (Once registered, all future applications for any post/vacancy can be submitted using Login ID Password .
3. Submit only one application. In case of more than one application, Application with the higher RID only will be valid.
4. Fee has to be paid separately for each application and is non- transferable

lmmediately after reconstitution of Arunachal Pradesh as a State, a need was felt for the State to have its own Public Service Commission to recruit and manage the Public Service of the State. Thus, the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on 4 April 1988 under Article 315 of the lndian Constitution, with Shri TS Deori as its first Chairman and Shri M.R Das, IAS(Retd) & Shri Y. Tikhak as its first two Members. The Commission today consists of a Chairman, four members and is served by a Secretariat. Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations No OM-15/88 dated 29 March 1988, as amended from time to time, govern the functioning of the Commission.
The Commission, till recently, was functioning from a temporary office building, allotted by the State Government, earlier meant for the Administrative Training Centre. A new building for holding Recruitment Examinations, with a capacity of 920 seats, was added in 2018. A Guest House came up alongside in 2019. The Commission's permanent Campus has been approved and is to come up, post demolition of the existing office building. The Commission has shifted its offices to the Guest House Building and functions from there in the interim.
