The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India, for filling up of 7 (seven) posts of Veterinary Officer, Group- 'A' (Gazetted), under the Department of Animals Husbandry & Veterinary , Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, in the Pay Rs. 15,600- 39,100/+Rs. 5400/- (G.P) P.M. in level plus other allowances as admissible in the Arunachal Pradesh Govt. from time to time.
i. The number of posts to be filled up is 7(seven). Out of 7(seven) posts, 05(five) posts are reserved for APST candidates and 02(two) posts are un-reserved. The vacancy position is subject to variation.
ii. Any vacancy/post(s) if received from Animals Husbandry, Veterinary & Diary Development, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh will be included and notified before the written examination is held.

3. Eligibility:
The applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Animals & Veterinary Science from a recognised University. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of original certificate/mark sheet at the time of viva voce/ lnterview.

Selection Procedure
1. The eligible candidate will have to appear in the written examination in the following subjects followed by viva-voce:
a. General English: 100 Marks
b. General Knowledge: 100 Marks
c. AH & Veterinary Science Paper-I: 200 Marks
d. AH & Veterinary Science Paper-II: 200 Marks
e. Viva Voce: 75 Marks
2. Candidates who secure a minimum of 33% marks in each written examination paper and a minimum of 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for Viva-voce.
3. However, of such eligible candidates, only a number three times the Number of Posts advertised (Ratio of 1:3), in the order of merit, shall be invited for the Viva- Voce/Personality Test.
How to Apply:
(a) Before applying online, candidate must mandatorily carry out One Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission's website www.aoosc.gov.in
(b) Candidates are required to apply online using the website www.appsc.pov.in. Detail instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application are available on the above-mentioned website. The applicants are advised to submit only single application;
i. However, if due to any unavoidable situation, a candidate submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that the application with the higher Registration lds (RlD) is complete in all respect like Applicant's details, Photograph, Signature, Photo lD, Fee etc. The application with higher RID shall be entertained by the Commission. Fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
(c) Those candidates who have already registered in OTR need not register again and they can directly log in to fill up online form using their User lD and Password.
(d) Closing Date: 18/12/2021 till1600 hours.
(e) Candidates Are Strongly Advised To Apply Online Well In Time Without Waiting For The Last Date For Submission Of Online Application.

lmmediately after reconstitution of Arunachal Pradesh as a State, a need was felt for the State to have its own Public Service Commission to recruit and manage the Public Service of the State. Thus, the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established on 4 April 1988 under Article 315 of the lndian Constitution, with Shri TS Deori as its first Chairman and Shri M.R Das, IAS(Retd) & Shri Y. Tikhak as its first two Members. The Commission today consists of a Chairman, four members and is served by a Secretariat. Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulations No OM-15/88 dated 29 March 1988, as amended from time to time, govern the functioning of the Commission.
The Commission, till recently, was functioning from a temporary office building, allotted by the State Government, earlier meant for the Administrative Training Centre. A new building for holding Recruitment Examinations, with a capacity of 920 seats, was added in 2018. A Guest House came up alongside in 2019. The Commission's permanent Campus has been approved and is to come up, post demolition of the existing office building. The Commission has shifted its offices to the Guest House Building and functions from there in the interim.
