A walk-in-interview for the following position under Director of Research, Assam Agricultural University will be held at Sarat Chandra Singha College of Agriculture, Rangamati, Dhubri on 02/03/2022 at 11:30 AM. Candidates may appear for the interview with bio-data, reprints/publication/thesis etc., one copy of passport size photographs. Assam Agricultural University is the first institution of its kind in the whole of North-Eastern Region of India. Assam Agricultural University (AAU) was established in the year 1969. The university is located in Jorhat, Assam. It is headquartered at Borbheta.
Assam Agricultural University has following colleges under it -
College of Agriculture, College of Home Science, College of Veterinary Science (C.V.Sc.), College of Fishery Science, Biswanath College of Agriculture, Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science (L.C.V.Sc.).
AAU is the only educational institution in the world to offer a comprehensive 4 year degree program in Agriculture with specialization in Tea Husbandry and Technology (THT). The Faculty of Agriculture offers B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D degree programs. The Faculty of Home Science offers B.Sc. & M.Sc. degree programs in all departments & a Ph.D. degree program in Food and Nutrition.
