Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited from the interested candidates for Post-Doctoral positions equivalent to Research Associate at DBT-North East Centre for Agricultural Biotechnology, AAU Jorhat with funding support from the Scientific Exchange programme of the Centre.
1. Name of the Post: Post-Doctoral positions
2. No of Post: 03
3. Duration: 6 (six) months with possibility of 6 months extension
4. Qualification: Ph D in Agricultural Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding and Genetics / Cell and Molecular Biology.
5. Desirable: Candidate must specify their experience in one of the research areas as evidenced from publications, patents etc.
6. Monthly Emoluments: Rs.47000/- 8% HRA
7. Area of Research:
a) Development of various binary vectors for genome editing of Chickpea
b) Molecular profiling of genes/QTLs associated with major yield traits in Assam rice cultivars
c) Development and appl ication of CRISPR- Cas9 system for Gene editing in Bacillus megaterium
Pay Scale:
INR
47000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure
