Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Warrant Officer (Cipher): 10+2 with Physics, Math, English + NSQF Level 4+ course in ICT/Electronics etc. from recognized ITI, or Bachelor's in Electronics/ICT.
- Rifleman (Electrical Fitter Signal): Class 10 + 2 years ITI training or Diploma in Electrical Engineering etc.
- Rifleman (Lineman Field): Class 10 + 2 years ITI training or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering etc.
- Rifleman (Armourer): 10th pass with ITI certificate in Welding.
- Rifleman (Engineer Equipment Mechanic): Class 10 + 2/3-year Diploma in relevant trade.
- Rifleman (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic): 10th + 2-year ITI in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic + valid Heavy Motor Vehicle licence.

Selection Process & Screening Clause
- RFID-Based Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Height/chest measurement and qualifying run (5 km in 24 mins for most regions).
- Documentation Verification: Alongside PST/PET reporting with original documents.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100-mark objective paper; minimum 35% for General/EWS, 33% for SC/ST/OBC.
- Trade Skill Test: Qualifying practical test based on CBT merit (1:4 ratio).
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME) as per CAPF guidelines.
- Merit List & Training Call: Final selection based on merit against vacancies. Note: No TA/DA will be paid; all expenses borne by candidates.
