Applications are invited for a position of Project Associate in a DBT-Twinning project entitled: “Study of Water-Soluble (C70- and C60-) Fullerene-Porphyrin Dyads as Inhibitors of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV): Synthesis, Characterization and Anti-HIV Activity” in the Dept. of Chemistry, Assam (Central) University, Silchar, Assam for a period of about one year.
i,. This project is in collaboration with South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi.
1. Post Name: Project Associate
2. Candidates who are sincere, hardworking and committed to research will be given priority. The DBT norms will be followed for the selection process.
3. The selected candidate has to join the post for the mentioned ongoing project immediately after the selection.
4. Essential qualification: M. Sc or M. tech in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Strong background in Chemistry is essential.
5. Emolument:
Project Associate for Non-NET/non-GATE/etc., shall be INR (25,000/- +HRA) per month only, otherwise (INR 31,000/- + HRA) per month applicable only for NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified candidates. The mentioned emolument is subject to change according to the DBT upgradation/norms

Selection Procedure
Short listed candidates will be notified for appearing in an online interview by the 18th of Dec, 2021 the link for attending the same will be sent by e-mail.
