Candidates with higher academic credentials, research publications, teaching experience, and relevant specialization will be given weightage. | Superannuated teachers may be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years. |
Educational Qualification:As per UGC Regulations, 2018 (as amended). Candidates are advised to refer to the UGC norms for the specific qualifications required for the respective disciplines (Law and Zoology).
Experience & Publications:Higher academic credentials, research publications, and teaching experience in the relevant discipline will be given due weightage during the selection process.
Age Limit:Superannuated teachers may apply subject to a maximum age of 70 years. Age limit for other candidates is not specified; however, eligibility will be as per UGC norms.
Remuneration:
₹57,700 per month (fixed consolidated remuneration, equivalent to the initial Basic Pay of an Assistant Professor at Academic Level-10). No allowances are admissible.

The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University was established by an Act passed by the parliament (No. 58 of 1994). The University came into existence on 10.01.1996 vide GOI, Ministry of HRD, Education Department Notification No. 8-16/GOI/desk/U-1 dated 05.01.1996. The basic philosophy and policies of the University are spelt out and enshrined in the University Act and Statutes. The University offers graduate and post-graduate students the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as persons and professionals, and the values and sensitivity necessary to serve the society. The University distinguishes itself as a socially responsible learning community of high quality scholarship and academic rigor sustained by social justice and equity principles for which Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar worked during his lifetime. The University draws from the cultural, intellectual and economic resources of Uttar Pradesh and other states to enrich and strengthen its educational programs.
