Educational Qualification & Experience:B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class in Electronics or Computer Science related disciplines from an AICTE-approved institute. Minimum 02 years of relevant post-qualification industrial work experience in areas like IT Infrastructure, IP Networking, Data Centre, CCTV, Sensor-based IoT Projects, or IP-enabled product support.
Skills:Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IP-enabled sensors, data centre infrastructure, IT applications, and command & control centres. Coordination with customers and vendors. Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Age Limit:Maximum 32 years for General candidates as on 01.07.2026. Relaxation: OBC-NCL (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10 years in addition to category relaxation), Ex-servicemen (as per Govt. guidelines). The maximum age after all relaxations is 50 years.
Salary (per month):
Consolidated Remuneration: ₹40,000 (1st year), ₹45,000 (2nd year), ₹50,000 (3rd year), ₹55,000 (4th year) per month, plus area allowance (10% for site postings) and annual benefits of ₹12,000. Retention bonus of ₹1,00,000 after 4 years.
Selection Procedure:
- Mandatory Pre-registration: Through QR code by 09:00 AM on 11.08.2026.
- Walk-in Selection: Written Test followed by Interview. Date: 05.08.2026 (Note: Notification lists a discrepancy; confirm on BEL website).
- Shortlisting: Based on Written Test score (1:5 ratio per category).
- Qualifying Marks: Written Test & Interview: 35% for General/OBC, 30% for SC/ST/PwBD. Weightage: Written Test (85%), Interview (15%).
Important Note: The walk-in date is mentioned as 05.08.2026 in the selection schedule, but 11.08.2026 in the notification header. Candidates must verify the correct date on the BEL website before travelling.
Application Fee: ₹400 + 18% GST for General/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen are exempted. Fee must be paid online through SBI Collect. No other mode of payment is accepted.
How to Apply (Walk-in with Pre-registration)
Candidates who wish to apply for the BEL Project Engineer position must follow a multi-step process:
- Pre-register: Scan the QR code provided in the official notification or visit the BEL website to pre-register by 09:00 AM on 11.08.2026.
- Pay Application Fee: Pay the applicable fee (if not exempted) through SBI Collect using the procedure provided in the notification. Save the payment receipt.
- Fill Application Form: Download and fill the prescribed application form (Bio-data form) available with the notification.
- Prepare Documents: Arrange all required original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies in the specified sequence.
- Attend Walk-in: Report to the venue (to be intimated on the BEL website on or before 07.08.2026) at 08:00 AM on the selection date. Entry closes at 08:30 AM.
Important: No separate call letters will be issued. Candidates must check the BEL website for the exact venue. Applications must be submitted in person at the venue; no applications sent by email or post will be accepted.

Key Instructions for Candidates
- Pre-registration is Mandatory: Candidates who do not pre-register will not be allowed to participate in the walk-in selection.
