Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Principal/Head: Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed./M.P.E.) with 55% marks or its equivalent grade (Grade B under UGC seven-point scale); Ph.D. in Physical Education. Eight years teaching experience, out of which five years in an institute/college/department of physical education.
Associate Professor: M.P.Ed. degree or its equivalent with at least 55% marks or Grade B as per UGC norms. Minimum eight years experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position at the level of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution, excluding PhD research period. Evidence of published work and minimum five publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
Assistant Professor: M.P.Ed. degree or its equivalent with 55% marks or Grade B as per UGC norms.
Sports Trainer: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in physical education with specialization in at least one game/sport (as applicable) or Diploma/PG diploma in coaching in a sport (as applicable).
Yoga Trainer: PG Diploma in Yoga.
Any other stipulation prescribed by UGC / Affiliating Body / State Government from time to time for these positions shall be mandatory.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Applicants must submit their applications along with all relevant supporting documents by email on or before 20 October 2026. Shortlisted candidates will participate in an online walk-in interview conducted through Google Meet on 22 October 2026. The meeting link will be communicated to eligible candidates via their registered email addresses. Incomplete applications, those without application fees, or unsigned applications are likely to be rejected. No TA/DA will be paid.
