Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduate in Electrical from recognised Institute/ University. Experience:
(i) Retired from the post of Chief Engineer or equivalent or above from State Govt./ Central Govt./ Central or State PSU's.
(ii) Minimum experience of 20 years in the field of Electricity.
Pay Scale:
INR
150000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 63 Years.

Bihar State Power Holding Company Ltd (BSPHCL) was established in year 1948,by State Government with the responsibility of Promoting, Coordinating Development of Power Generation, Supply and Distribution of Electricity in the State.
Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL), formerly Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) is a state-owned electricity regulation board operating within the state of Bihar in India.[1][2] BSEB was established in 1958 as a statutory corporation under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948. As of November 2012, BSEB has nearly 1,700 officers and 14,850 employees. The derated capacity comes to just 530 MW. The BSEB was unbundled on 2 August 2011. Power Finance Corporation was the main consultant for BSEB's restructuring.
