BIRAC is inviting applications from qualified, experienced and ambitious professionals for the following position: 1. Position: Principal Consultant/ Sr. Consultant [HR & Procurement] 2. No. of Positions: 01 [One] 3. Duration: The engagement is contractual initially for a period of six months, extendable to an year based on performance. Fee: The consolidated fee shall be fixed depending on the experience and qualification between: a. Rs.1,20,000 to Rs.1,90,000 monthly - Principal Consultant 4. Job Description: Work closely with HR & Administration Department mainly to deal in the Procurements & Tendering process and HR related matters. 5. Essential Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University / Institute and MBA (Human Resource/Finance/Material Management) from a recognized Institute. 6. Experience: Principal Consultant: 20 years or above Sr. Consultant: 11 years and upto 20 years Preferred work experience of 06 years in dealing with GFR and procurements & tendering process in PSU / Govt. Institute / other Govt. Department. 7. Key Responsibilities: ▪ Procurements of Goods & Services through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and offline mode wherever required by following Government purchase procedures and rules asper BIRAC procurement manual / GFR 2017 and subsequent amendments. ▪ End to end tendering process viz. preparation of tender document, inviting bids, evaluation of bids etc. ▪ Maintenance of services records of employees ▪ Dealing with onboarding process, maintaining reservation roster as per Government norms. ▪ Any other work related to HR & Administration matters in BIRAC 8. Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) was established by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, to strengthen and empower the emerging Biotech Enterprise to undertake Strategic Research and innovation for Nationally Relevant Product.
The vision & mission of Council is to stimulate, foster and enhance the strategic research and innovation capabilities of the Indian Biotene Industry for creation of affordable products to fulfil needs of the largest section of Society.
The prime objective of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is to sensitize the Biotechnology Industries for Public Health / Agriculture / Food Securities / Green Technology & Industry by setting up Enterprise, Academia and Research about the Government Funding to support Innovation Ecosystem effective Grant proposal for Industry use of Management of Intellectual Property tools.
