Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a not-for-profit Section 8, Schedule B, Public Sector Enterprise, under Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India as an Interface Agency to strengthen and empower the emerging Biotech enterprise to undertake strategic research and innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs.

1. Position: Officer Finance and Accounts
2. No. of Positions: 01
3. Essential Qualifications: B.Com from a recognized University / Institute plus PG Diploma (Finance) from a recognized Institute.
4. Desirable qualifications: Chartered Accountant from a recognized institute.
5. Experience: Minimum 2 years.
6. Scale of Pay : Rs. 40,000/- 1,20,000/- plus 35% Perquisites and 27% HRA
7. Job Description: To perform the highly specialized Accounting work in line with general Accounting principles as per Companies Act.
Pay Scale:
INR
40000 - 120000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years, The upper age is relaxable by 03 years for Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

The prime objective of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is to sensitize the Biotechnology Industries for Public Health / Agriculture / Food Securities / Green Technology & Industry by setting up Enterprise, Academia and Research about the Government Funding to support Innovation Ecosystem effective Grant proposal for Industry use of Management of Intellectual Property tools.
