Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB Sponsored Project titled “Ediacaran Complex Acanthomorph Palynoflora (ECAP) based biostratigraphy of the Krol Belt of the Lesser Himalaya, Northern India: Significance for global correlation" (Project no: EEQ/2021/000787) under the guidance of Dr. Veeru Kant Singh, Scientist- ‘E’ (Principal Investigator), BSIP, tenable at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

3. Essential Qualification: Post-Graduation in Geology/Botany or allied disciplines from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks at graduation and post-graduation level.
4. Desirable Qualification: CSIR/UGC NET/GATE qualified candidate may be given preference. Candidates having experience in Precambrian Palaeobiology during master’s dissertation/internship may be given preference.
5. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (Admissible) per month for CSIR/UGC NET/GATE qualified candidates and conversely Rs. 25000/- + HRA for candidates who is not CSIR/UGC NET/GATE qualified.
6. Duration: Three years or co-terminus with project

The short-listed candidates will be intimated subsequently to appear before the Selection Committee in person or via online portal (e.g., Google Meet) for the interview.
