Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the post of one Project Assistant (PA) under the SERB (Core Research Grant - CRG) Sponsored Project titled "Reconstructing the genetic history and Bronze age human migrations in India. (Project No. CRG/2021/006762) under the guidance of Dr. Niraj Rai, BSIP (Scientist — 'D' and PI) tenable at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

3. Essential Qualification: Post-Graduation in Life Science or Biotechnology from any recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks at graduation and post-graduation level.
4. Desirable Qualification: Experience in Computational Biology and Ancient DNA laboratory work.
5. Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- +16% HRA per month
6. Duration: Three years or co-terminus with the project.

1. The short-listed candidates will be intimated subsequently to appear before the Selection Committee in person or via online portal (e.g., Google Meet) for the interview.
2. The incumbent shall have no implicit or explicit claim of regular absorption in any post in the Institute or in Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
3. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview
