Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for District Judge

  • Essential Qualification: Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university. Sufficient knowledge of Marathi language (speak, read, write, translate).
  • Experience: Must have at least 7 years of experience as on 30.01.2026 in one of the following:
    • Practicing as an Advocate in High Court of Bombay or subordinate courts.
    • Serving as a Judicial Officer in Maharashtra Judicial Service.
    • Working as Public Prosecutor or Government Advocate.
  • Age Limit: 35 to 45 years (General). Up to 48 years for PwD/Backward Communities.
