Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Genetic Counselor

• Essential Qualification: Post-graduation in Genetics/Human Genetics/Human Genomics/Genetic counseling/Life sciences with Genetics as a major subject.
• Experience: Candidate with at least 1-year clinical genetics observership/postgraduation certificate in genetic counseling will be preferred.
• Desirable: Board of Genetic counseling India (BGCI)/Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) certified genetic counsellor.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.

Eligibility for Bioinformatics Analyst

• Essential Qualification & Experience: M.Sc / M.Tech (Bioinformatics/Genomics) with knowledge of Linux operating system, Programming languages (Python/Shell script), and familiarity with genomic database/tool/software development and testing open sources biological databases. Candidates should have familiarity with exome sequencing analysis, genomic database, genetic disorders and ACMG guidelines, standard protocols and pipelines as well as ability to develop custom pipelines and mastery over tools like FAST QC, trimmomatic and HISAT 2 for quality control, alignment and analysis.
• Experience: Candidates with at least 2 years of experience will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.

Eligibility for Genome Analyst

• Essential Qualification & Experience: M.Sc (Bioinformatics/Human Genetics/Genomics/Molecular biology) with 3 years of work experience OR Ph.D in Bioinformatics/Human Genetics/Genomics/Molecular biology with experience in analyzing genomic sequencing data including Exome sequencing, RNA sequencing, mitochondrial genome and whole genome sequencing using standard protocols and guidelines along with related publications.
• Experience (Additional Requirements): Candidates should have familiarity with genomic databases, genetic disorders and ACMG guidelines, standard protocols and pipelines. They must be able to filter, short-list & interpret relevant disease causing variants from the list of annotated variants. Should be able to address suitable techniques for validation of identified variants, primers/probes designing and tracking post NGS reporting developments.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.
