Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Invites Application for Technical Expert Recruitment 2022

Hiring of Technical Experts

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for hiring Sector Experts, Senior Sector Experts, Part Time Sector Experts and Consultants for following sectors on contract basis initially for a period of one year extendable for a maximum period of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance based on KPIs on monthly remuneration given as under:

1. Position: Technical Expert

2. Educational Qualification required: 

a. Bachelor’s in Engineering. OR

b. Postgraduate in Business Administration/ Commerce/ Finance or M.Sc. OR M.A. in Economics with Finance as a subject. Climate Change/ Carbon Finance / Sustainability/ Environment/ Energy Efficiency knowledge will be given preference.

3. Experience required:

a. Sector Experts should have at least 05 years of post-qualification industry experience in the sector applying for. Persons having previous experience in the area of energy efficiency or PAT related activities will be preferred. BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager will also be given preference

b. Senior Sector Experts should have at least 08 years of post-qualification industry experience in the sector applying for. Persons having previous experience in the area of energy efficiency or PAT related activities will be preferred. BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager will also be given preference

c. Part Time Sector Experts should have at least 15 years of postqualification industry experience in the sector applying for. Persons having previous experience in energy efficiency and its conservation or PAT related activities will be preferred.

d. Consultants should have at least 25 years of sectoral experience and having held suitable positions in plant level not less than that of AGM/GM of PSU or equivalent positions in Govt. Department/CPSU/organisation.

4. Monthly Remuneration/ fee:

• Sector Expert on consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1 Lakh per month
• Senior Sector Expert on consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1.25 Lakh per month
• Part Time Sector Experts on monthly retainer fee of Rs. 20,000/- plus Rs. 5,000/- per day visit charges (normally maximum 6 days per month unless permitted in special cases). The monthly payment shall not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh
• Consultants on monthly remunerations for retired Govt. /CPSU employees shall be fixed as per prevailing rules of Govt. of India (not exceeding Rs. 1.25 Lakh)

• Regulation Enforcement
• Aluminium
• Fertilizer
• Petrochemical
• Petroleum- Refinery
• DISCOM
• Small &Medium Enterprises (SME)
• Climate Finance
• Electrical Vehicle
• Media

Selection Procedure

Candidate meeting the eligibility criteria would be shortlisted in order of merit. Selection will be done based on written test; if any; followed by personal interaction with the shortlisted candidates.
