Sub: Preparation of panel for appointment as Intelligence Officers on deputation basis in the Directorate General of GST Intelligence, Goa Regional Unit- reg.

i. The Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI), Pune Zonal Unit is in the process of drawing up a panel of willing and suitable officers for filling up vacancies in the grade of Tntelligence Officer' at the DGGI, Goa Regional Unit, on deputation basis as mentioned below.

ii. It is proposed to fill the vacancies by appointing suitable officers from the respective grades of Customs and GST formations.

4. Pay Level int he 7th CPC matrix: Level-7 [Pre- revised pay scale of Rs. 9,300/- to 34,800/- Rs. with grade pay of Rs. 4,600/-]

5. Normally, the deputation is for a period of five years for the post of 'Intelligence Officer' which is extendable by another two years, subject to the willingness of the officer, his/her performance, concurrence of his/her parent Commissionerate and approval of the competent authority.

How to Apply:

1. The last date for recipt of application is 30th, Apil, 2022.

2. It is requested that this circular may please be brought to the notice of all the formations under your jurisdiction and the application of willing officers may please be forwarded to this Office

3. It may be made clear to the willing officers that the option once exercised would be final and in the event of selection in the Directorate General of GST Intelligence, they will not be allowed to witldraw the same.

4. In case, while working in ttris Directorate, if the conduct and work of the officers is not found satisfactory, the officers shall be reverted to their parent Commissionerate prematurely without assigining any reasons
