Educational Qualification: (i) M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech, B.V.Sc., B.Pharm, or equivalent degree, and at least two years of post – M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech, B.V.Sc., B.Pharm Research Experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals. (ii) M.E., M.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology.(iii) MBBS or BDS with 1 year internship / M.V.Sc / M.Pharm or equivalent.

The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CDFD receives funding also from other agencies on specific collaborative projects. CDFD is recognized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Regional Centre for Biotechnology and University of Hyderabad for a Ph.D. programme in Life Sciences. The Centre is equipped with world class state-of-the-art instrumentation and computing infrastructure to facilitate research and development in frontier areas of modern biology.
