Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Project Associate-I (PA-I): Master's degree in Forestry (Forest Biology & Tree Improvement, Forest Products & Utilization, or Genetics & Plant Breeding) or Plant/Forest Biotechnology from a recognized University. Remuneration is Rs. 31,000/month + HRA for NET-qualified candidates and Rs. 25,000/month + HRA for non-NET candidates.
- Technical Assistant / Field Assistant-I: Graduate in Science from a recognized University. Remuneration is Rs. 20,000/month + HRA.
Age Limit & Relaxation: Project Associate-I — maximum 35 years; Technical Assistant/Field Assistant-I — maximum 50 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection of eligible candidates will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic Record: Candidates' educational qualifications and academic performance will be assessed.
- Performance in Interview: Selected candidates will be called for a walk-in interview on 15 October 2026 at the Central Agricultural University Campus, Imphal, Manipur. Final selection will be determined on the basis of interview performance.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview. Candidates must attend the interview with all original documents.
