The Central Bank of India (Samajik Utthan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan - CBI-SUAPS) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Counsellors for Financial Literacy Centres (FLC) on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification & Professional Experience

Candidates must meet the following strict criteria:

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), Internet browsing, and typing in the local language.
  • Professional Background (Preferred Categories):
    • Retired / VRS opted Bank Officials of Scale I and above (Nationalized Banks, SBI, and RRBs preferred).
    • Ex-Servicemen with banking knowledge.
    • Other candidates (e.g., Government School Teachers) having banking/financial knowledge and relevant IIBF certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of service as an Officer or permanent employee is mandatory. A Service Certificate is required.
  • Residence: Candidate must be a resident of the respective district (Ahilyanagar or Dhule) to ensure local connectivity.

2. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 45 Years
  • Maximum Age: 65 Years

3. Mandatory Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in the local language (Marathi) are essential.
  • Unblemished service record.

Selection Process

Since this is a direct recruitment for a specialized role:

Salary / Stipend Structure

The position is on a contractual basis with a consolidated remuneration:

  • Total Consolidated Pay: Rs. 26,000/- per month.
