Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Degree Route: A Degree in Yoga or Yoga & Naturopathy with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University, along with two years of experience in Yoga Therapy in a reputed Institute / Hospital. OR
- Graduate + Diploma Route: Any Graduate from a recognized University established under the UGC Act, with a Diploma in Yoga after graduation of at least one-year duration from a recognized University / Institute with 55% marks, plus practical experience in Yoga in a reputed Yoga Institute / Hospital for a minimum period of five years.
- Mandatory Certificate: YCB Level-II (Therapy Level) Certificate of Yoga Certification Board (Yoga Certification Board, Ministry of AYUSH). If not held at the time of joining, the selected candidate must complete the YCB Level-II course within three months of joining.
- Skill Test: Demonstration skills in Yoga practices; a practical skill test will be conducted during the walk-in process.
- Desirable Qualifications: Working experience in traditional Yoga Therapy from an Institute of national repute / Hospital; knowledge of Computer Operation; working knowledge of Tamil, Hindi, English and Sanskrit; working experience in research projects related to Yoga Therapy and case studies; fluency in English.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection will be conducted through a multi-stage walk-in process:
- Screening Committee Verification: Candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications will be screened by a committee at the VC Room of ALRARI, Chennai between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 17 October 2026.
- Practical Skill Test: Demonstration of Yoga practice skills before the committee.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the selection panel.
- Final Selection: Based on the overall assessment of qualifications, skill demonstration, and interview performance.
Critical Clauses:
- No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the Walk-in Interview.
