Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) Invites Application for 11 Technical Assistant Recruitment 2022

Online applications are invited from the eligible Indian citizens to fill up the vacancies for the following Technical & Support Staff positions as per the details given below for locations at Pilani/ Chennai/ Jaipur:

5. Essential Educational Qualifications:

i. Diploma in Electrical Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Electrical Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Electrical Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Electrical Engg./ Tech

ii. Diploma in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Mechanical Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Mechanical Engg./ Tech.

iii. Diploma in Civil Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Civil Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Civil Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Civil Engg./ Tech.

iv. Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech.

6. Job Requirement:

i. Application & Requirement Specific Software Design and Development; Design and Development of Websites with Static and Dynamic Pages, debugging and testing; Hosting of Software / Websites and their Maintenance. Android and IOS App Development, Debugging, and Testing Assisting in ongoing R&D projects and allied activities.

ii. Preparation of preliminary and detailed estimates, tenders and its processing as CPWD/ CSIR norms/ guidelines for new civil works for office/staff quarters. Supervision of building construction work and services such as plumbing, sanitary fittings, and sewerage as per schedule of agreement/ specification. Assisting in ongoing R&D projects and allied civil activities.

iii. Operation and maintenance of Central AC Plants, Package type AC units window, split ACs, water coolers, desert coolers, refrigerators. Operation & maintenance of various capacities of Diesel generating sets. Shift duty for managing the services like ACs, DG sets, Air compressors, Chilled water units, Electrical installations of Engineering Services Division. Preventive maintenance of above. Assisting in ongoing R&D projects and allied mechanical activities.

iv. Preparation of estimates, tenders and its processing as CPWD/ CSIR norms/ guidelines for new electrical installations works for office/staff quarters/street lights. Operations, Repair and maintenance of electrical installations and its accessories of office building and staff quarters. Supervision of engineering services, electrical infrastructure and facilities, and different capacity diesel generating sets. Assisting in ongoing R&D projects and allied electrical activities.

Selection Procedure

1. The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test. Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

2. For these posts, there will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). Paper-II & Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I. The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.

2. Selection Procedure for the Technical Assistant

The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade Test. Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.

4. Mode of Examination for Technical Assistant

[Erstwhile Group III(1) & III(2)] For these posts, there will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III). Paper-II & Paper-III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I. The Final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & Paper-III.
