Technical Assistant (TA)

Number of Vacancy: 18 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/ field.

Computer Science & Engineering: Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Technology / Information Technology of at least 03 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/ field.

Electronics Engineering: Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/ field.

Food Science/Food Technology: B.Sc. [Food Science/Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition] or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organisation.

Microbiology: B.Sc. [Microbiology] or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organisation. (OR) B.Sc. [Microbiology] or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year full time professional qualification.

Chemistry: B.Sc. [Chemistry] or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organisation. (OR) B.Sc. [Chemistry] or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year full time professional qualification.

Pay Scale:
INR
35400-112400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years.

Selection Procedure:
The candidates fulfilling all necessary eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening Committee duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-CFTRI, will be invited for Trade Test in the relevant trade/discipline (Qualifying in nature).

Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. There will be three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III) in the competitive written examination. The Second and Third paper (i.e. Paper-II & III) will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in the first paper (Paper-I).

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination in Paper-II & III.
