Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Associate – I (PAT-I)

• Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) OR Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.). Specifically: Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science, Food Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
• Desirable:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with Diploma from CIPET or equivalent, with hands-on expertise in film extrusion process.
  • Working experience in Polymer Film Extrusion, Twin extruder.
  • Master’s Degree in Material Science/ Polymer Science/Plastic technology or equivalent will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years as of 26-01-2026.
• Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women; 03 years for OBC.
• Important Note: Candidates who have completed a total tenure of 6 years in any of the CSIR Lab/Instt. as Project Staff are not eligible.
