Educational Qualification & Experience:Varies by post code. Requires B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc. in Food Science/Technology, Computer Science, AI/ML, or related fields. Project Associate - II requires an M.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant food science fields with 2 years of R&D experience.
Skills:Research and development, data analysis, AI model development (for CS/IT roles), laboratory experiments, food science knowledge, report writing.
Age Limit:Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application (12.08.2026). Relaxation: SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 5 years; OBC: 3 years.
Salary (per month):
Project Associate - I: ₹25,000 + HRA; Project Associate - II: ₹28,000 + HRA.
Selection Procedure:
- Shortlisting: By a designated committee based on percentage of marks, higher qualifications, desirable qualifications, or other methods.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

Important Terms & Conditions

- No Claim on Regular Employment: This engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right for regularization or permanent employment.
- Co-terminus Engagement: Engagement will be co-terminus with the project tenure.
- NOC Required: Candidates currently working in CSIR/CSIR-CFTRI must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current Principal Investigator.
