Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Essential: Post-graduate in Biological Science.
- Preferred Specializations: M.F.Sc in Fish Nutrition & Feed technology, Biochemistry & Physiology, Fish Biotechnology, Aquatic animal health, Aquatic environment management and Aquaculture, Marine Biology.
- Academic Requirement: 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in Master's degree.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience in Aquaculture, fish nutrition, Fish Physiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and data interpretation.
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India (GOI) norms for reserved categories and previous employment.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Academic Performance: Evaluation of qualifications and marks.
- Experience: Field experience in fisheries sciences.
- Interview Performance: Performance during the walk-in interview.
Note: Only candidates who fulfill all eligibility conditions will be allowed to appear for the interview.
Terms and Conditions
- The position is purely temporary and contractual.
- Tenure and service conditions are governed by ICAR guidelines.
- Place of work is ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai; field visits are required.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai will be final and binding.
