Skills / Eligibility
1. Post Name: Worker Skilled Labour 2. No. of Post: 06 3. Name of the project: Enhancing economy of livestock farmers through Al using cloned buffalo bull semen 4. Essential Qualification: Matriculation with Artificial Insemination (Al) Knowledge 5. Desirable: Experience for AI and semen production, processing and handling of animals like buffalo and familiar with Nuh district. 6. Duties and Project implementation Area: To make AI, PD, semen handling, Ear tagging, record keeping and reporting etc in NUH District of Haryana 7. Monthly emolument: Rs. 12000/- per month 8. Period of Contract: 12 months, extendable to another term based on performance and needs of the Institute and performance of candidate. However contract can be terminated premature by either side without assigning any reason with a notice of 30 days.

2. Interested candidates should bring doCumentary proois (Original certificates and attested photocopies) of educational qualification (degree and basic minimum qualifications certificates and mark sheets indicating subjects), age, caste, experience, bio-data with passport size photo and complete address and publications if any.
3. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.

Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) was established in the year 1985 and started functioning from 1 February, 1985. A sub-campus was later added in December,1987 at Bir Dosanjh, Nabha, District Patiala, Punjab. A highly pedigreed breeding herd of Murrah is established at main campus in Hisar and that of Nili-Ravi buffaloes at sub-campus Nabha. The institute carries out research on various aspects of buffalo improvement including conservation, improvement and propagation of germplasm, development of optimum rations and feeding systems for different categories of buffaloes, enhancement of reproductive efficiency, health management practices for augmenting milk, meat and draught performance of the species.
The institute is aiming to improve buffaloes through identification, conservation and propagation of elite germplasm having high efficiency of reproduction and nutrient utilization for sustainable production and commercialization.
