Educational Qualification: Any Masters Degree, M.Phil/Ph.D

The Centre of Excellence for studies in Classical Kannada (CESCK), a Government of India initiative, following awarding of the Classical Status to Kannada requires following positions on “CONTRACUAL BASIS”.

1. Name of the Post: Senior Fellow

2. No of Positions: 05

3. Monthly Consolidated emoluments/ Honorarium: 41,000

4. Qualification: 

Doctorate degree in KANNADA (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistic related KANNADA Languages with Master’s Degree in and on the same subjects from a recognized University with at least 55% marks. Retired persons are preferred.

5. Experience:

Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized University or College or Institution. At least 10 reputed publications and 10 papers in and on KANNANDA, especially in CLASSICAL KANNADA 2) Knowledge of working on computers

5. Others:  

Evidence of undertaking research projects and accomplishment. Evidence of research guidance at Doctorate degree level in Kannada Language, Literature and Culture or Linguistics related to Kannada Language. Proficiency in more than one Indian Language, especially in classical languages and in English.

3. Monthly Consolidated emoluments/ Honorarium: 37,000

4. Qualification: 

Doctorate degree in KANNADA (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistic related KANNADA Languages with Master’s Degree in and on the same subjects from a recognized University with at least 55% marks. Retired persons are preferred

5. Experience:

Minimum 5 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized University or College or Institution. At least 10 reputed publications and 5 papers in and on KANNADA, especially in CLASSICAL KANNNADA 2) Knowledge of working on computers

5. Others:

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is an Indian research and teaching institute located in Mysore, part of the Language Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established on 17 July 1969.
