Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
National Translation Mission (NTM) Scheme, Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru requires a Project Director to lead the Mission in achieving its aims and objectives.
1. Post Name: Project Director
2. Essential Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Linguistics/Literature/Translation, at least ten years of research/teaching experience, and at least five years of administrative experience in a reputed organization or an educational institution.
3. Desirable: Knowledge of IPR, copyright issues and publishing activities.
4. The appointment of Project Director will be on contractual basis initially for a period of one year extendable upto three years subject to annual review.
5. The position carries a consolidated pay of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand) per month (fixed).

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is an Indian research and teaching institute located in Mysore, part of the Language Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established on 17 July 1969.
Aims and Objectives:
Advices and Assists Central as well as State Governments in the matters of language;
Contributes to the development of all Indian Languages by creating content and corpus;
Protects and Documents Minor, Minority, and Tribal Languages; Promotes Linguistic harmony by teaching 15 Indian languages to non-native learners.
