Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.A, M.Pharma, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D
The institute intends to avail the services of suitable persons for the following contractual posts for LDC-IL scheme
1. Position: Chief Resource Person
2. No of Post: 02
3. Essential and Desirable qualifications:
i) MA or MSC/B.Tech/M.Tech in Linguistics/ Computational, Linguistics/NLP/Applied Linguistics from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks
ii) M.Phil / Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics/Corpus Linguistics/Machine Translation/NLP/Corpus Linguistics or related areas from a recognized University
iii) Fair Knowledge of the programming languages of. Python/Java and databases
iv) Exposure to Machine Learning algorithms for language modeling (for speech or text)
v) Minimum 5 years of experience of working in a recognized organization/institution / Industry in the area / field of Natural Language Processing (excluding the period of M.Phil/PhD).
vi) Proficiency in Hindi / English and any scheduled language
4. Consolidated remuneration per month : Rs.48,000/-

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is an Indian research and teaching institute located in Mysore, part of the Language Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established on 17 July 1969.
Aims and Objectives:
Advices and Assists Central as well as State Governments in the matters of language;
Contributes to the development of all Indian Languages by creating content and corpus;
Protects and Documents Minor, Minority, and Tribal Languages; Promotes Linguistic harmony by teaching 15 Indian languages to non-native learners.
CIIL jobs are available for the following posts Accounts Assistant, Data Entry Operator (Urdu).
