Educational Qualification:
Senior Fellow: Doctorate degree in MALAYALAM (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistics related to MALAYALAM Language with sound working knowledge in MALAYALAM.

Associate Fellow: Doctorate degree in MALAYALAM (Language, Literature and Culture) or Linguistics related to MALAYALAM Language with sound working knowledge in MALAYALAM.

Office Superintendent: 1) Any degree from recognized University. 2) Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in responsible position in any Central / State Government office / Autonomous bodies with exposure in establishment & Accounts work. 3) Computer knowledge is essential

Assistant: 1) Any degree from a recognized university. 2) 5 years of experience in Accounts / establishment as Lower division clerk / assistant. 3) Proficiency in English & Malayalam typing on computer. 4) Hands on experience of working in computer packages such as MS word, Excel, Spread sheet etc.

Library Assistant: 1) Any degree from a recognized university. Preferably in Library Science. 2) Proficiency in English & Malayalam typing on computer. 4) Hands on experience of working in computer packages such as MS word, Excel, Spread sheet etc.

MTS: 1) Minimum PUC pass. 2) Knowledge of computer, Operation of printer is preferred.

The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) is an Indian research and teaching institute located in Mysore, part of the Language Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. It was established on 17 July 1969.

Aims and Objectives:
Advices and Assists Central as well as State Governments in the matters of language;
Contributes to the development of all Indian Languages by creating content and corpus;
Protects and Documents Minor, Minority, and Tribal Languages; Promotes Linguistic harmony by teaching 15 Indian languages to non-native learners.
