CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai is a National Laboratory under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It is one of the World’s premier Institute engaged in Research & Development in the area of Leather Science & Technology and associated with several National & International Program.

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. No of Post: 02

 3. Qualification : Essential: M.Sc in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Medical Biochemistry/ Animal Sciences/ Bio-Technology from a recognized University/ Institute with CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant. Professorship) (OR) M.Tech or M.Pharm in Biotechnology/ Biopharmaceutical Technology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Pharmaceutics/ Genetic Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute with GATE

4. Tenure, Monthly emoluments: 01-year Rs.31,000/- plus HRA

1. Position: Project Associate I

2. No of Post: 05

 3. Qualification : 

a) Essential: MCA or B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University/ Institute Desirable: Candidates having experience in the area of Artificial Intelligence and proficiency in or more software products viz. Scripting in Python/ PHP or working knowledge in database design, web enable applications and portal designing will be given preference

b) Essential: M.Pharma from a recognized University/ Institute. Desirable: Candidates having 1st class in M.Pharma and experience in drug discovery/ computational drug discovery will be given preference

c) Essential: B.E/ B.Tech in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute. Desirable: Candidates having M.E/M.Tech in Biotechnology with a valid GATE score and Research experience in the field of Protein amino acid, enzymatic bio-diesel, recovery using leather solid waste will be given preference

d) Essential: B.E/ B.Tech in Civil/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute Desirable: Candidates having M.E/ M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management and Research experience in the field of Protein amino acid, enzymatic biodiesel, recovery using leather solid waste will be given preference will be given preference

e) Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Medical Electronics from recognized University/ Institute Desirable: Selected through CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant. Professorship) or GATE or National level exams conducted by CSIR/ DBT/ DST/ ICMR/ IIT/ IISc/ IISER/ UGC/ ICAR etc.,
