Educational Qualification: Details of qualifications and experience etc., for the posts shall be as per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018, as amended from time to time and as per AICTE / NCTE norms as applicable. The Central University of Haryana is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India (GoI) in XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central University Act-2009 of the Parliament.
The University has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade in the first cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation conducted in March 2017. The University has been listed among the top 150-200 Universities in NIRF ranking. The University is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Permanent Campus of the University is situated on 484 acres of land at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana from where CUH is running its academic operations. Presently the University offers 83 academic programs (UG/PG/Research).
