Educational Qualification:
1. Master’s degree in Geography (Specialization: India Geography, World Geography).
2. Three years of teaching experience in any coaching center for Civil Service aspirants/teaching experience in University/College.
3. Candidate must be UGC/CSIR-NET/JRF in the concerned subject.

Age Limit: As per company rule.
Application Processing Fee: Rs.500/- for UR and Rs.400/- for the OBC category. The SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates are exempted from paying the application processing fee. The application processing fee once paid shall not be refunded at any stage.

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walk-in-interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Faculty at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.

The university was founded in 2009 as a result of the government's policy to establish Central Universities in each of the states that do not already have a central university.
