Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications are based on UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018 and its subsequent amendments.

Important Instructions & Relaxations

  • Hard Copy Submission: Submission of a hard copy of the application along with self-attested documents is mandatory. It must reach the Recruitment Cell before 16.02.2026, 5:00 PM.
  • Application Fee: Rs. 2000/- (Women and SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted). Candidates who applied against the cancelled Notification No CUK/EST/RECRT/TEACH/2023/BL1 need not pay again.
  • Mark Relaxation: A relaxation of 5% (i.e., from 60% to 55% for Tourism Studies and 55% to 50% for other disciplines) is provided at Graduate and Masters levels for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-creamy layer) categories.
  • Ph.D. Relaxation: Ph.D. Degree holders with Master's Degree obtained prior to 19th September 1991 get a 5% relaxation (55% to 50%).
  • Experience: M.Phil/Ph.D. period is not counted as teaching experience unless active service was spent on pursuing Research simultaneously with teaching assignment without leave.
  • Selection: Based on interview performance, seminar/colloquium/teaching methods may also be used.
  • Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates (beyond 30 Km) belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories called for interview will be reimbursed single second class railway fare.
